Our Story

Founded by author and journalist K. Krombie, Purefinder New York is an independent, woman-run business with a mission to explore the lesser-known, darker sides of New York’s past. Inspired by Krombie’s book, Death in New York, our walking tours highlight the parts of the city often left out of mainstream history. We take pride in offering a personalized and thought-provoking experience, connecting people to the forgotten narratives that shaped New York City.
